The Transportation Department is looking for Bus Driver's and Bus
Assistant's, to work August through May each school year, with two
weeks off in December and one week off in March.
Bus Assistants earn $6.55 per hour Bus Drivers earn $9.05 per
hour, with
a two hour minimal guarantee per shift.
Each day may consist of two to three shifts. In the morning when all
the children are going to school, midday, or possible fieldtrips.
And, the afternoon shift, when the children are returning
home.
We transport children starting as early as 3 years of age - up to 13
years of age. These students attend our twenty-three Elementary
Schools, four of which are Middle Schools.
When hired, "we pay you to train you"; no experience is necessary.
You will endure a 10 level road-training program that prepares you
for all of the daily challenges on the road. Engage in classroom
instruction on District Policies, State and Federal laws, Drivers
Responsibilities, Student Management, Accident Procedures and much
more.
